I have a small book of quotes about how your attitude helps determine the
results of your efforts (e.g., positive attitude helps get good results).
So, I was flipping through it looking for a nice quote for final exam
time and found one: "A positive mind has extra problem solving power."
The quote was on page 47 of the book.

In the scene in "Tomorrow Never Dies" where the BMW dives off the top of
the parking garage, it breaks through the wall exactly at the spot where is
painted the number 247 (Probably parking space 247).

in the movie the fugitive, when the u.s. marshalls are searching the

There's also a 47 on the license plate of a truck just after that
scene.

Here are a few UK 47s I've been meaning to report for a
while...

A couple of months ago a midwife was murdered: she was
stabbed 47 times.

I don't watch Eastenders but I was flicking past the
channel when some bloke walked out of a door - number 47.

Has anyone noticed that when companies such as taxi firms
and insurance companies want you to remember their phone
numbers from advertisements, they often comprise of 4s and
7s, eg. 44477 or 474747. (BTW these are real examples)

I were into 47! I have a webpage and I have a 47 sightings page that I try
to update now and then, but I just ran across your page, and HAD to drop
you a line before I went on.

Also, if you like Pink Floyd, it is also a good site. Later man!

Since today is my 47th birthday, I wondered if anyone has a list of
names, like mine, whose alpha/numeric equivalents are 47.

Did anyone else notice that the two quarterbacks in the Super Bowl had
jersey numbers 4 and 7?
